StitchTap is made by KniTime (“we”, “us”). We built StitchTap to be a simple, private tool for counting while you knit. This policy explains how the app handles information.
The short version: StitchTap does not collect, store, or share any personal data about you.
No data collection
StitchTap does not collect personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no logins. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and the app contains no third-party tracking software.
What the app stores, and where
The only information StitchTap saves is the content you create yourself: your counters, their values and names, and the projects you organise them into. This information is stored locally on your device. It stays on your device and is not sent to us or to any server we control.
Apple Watch
If you use StitchTap on Apple Watch, your counters are synchronised between your own iPhone and your own Apple Watch using Apple’s built-in connectivity between paired devices. This data moves only between devices you own and is never transmitted to us.
Permissions
StitchTap does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.
Deleting your data
Because everything is stored on your device, you are always in full control. Deleting the app removes all counters and projects associated with it from your device.
Children’s privacy
StitchTap is suitable for users of all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because StitchTap collects no personal data, there is no personal information for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. If you have any questions about privacy or your rights under laws such as the GDPR, you are welcome to contact us.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the date above.
